I
remember the lunch bell and when it rang 3 times everyone clapped cause we were allowed to
play outside. I remember playing kickball. I remember the school plays, "RIF",
"SRA's"... I have only the fondest memories of 115. Sometimes when I am in the
neighborhood visiting my parents, I drive by and look around and it brings a smile to my
face. |

I
remember Mr. Botkin, all my great teachers including Mrs. Drucker and Mrs. Rokaw; winning
the spelling bee in 5th grade, Talent Shows, the play we put on in 4th grade (Mrs.
Meisenberg's class) "A Dish for the King"....."Hans Brinker and the Silver
Skates" in 5th grade, and "The Sound of Music" in 6th grade; such
performances! I remember playing kickball and (I think his name was) Robert O'Leary whose
nickname was "Weas"....the Kenefick twins, everyone in all my classes......what
great years! Thank you 115 for the fun memories. |

I loved
my years at PS 115. I remember Mrs.Kransknoff, Lasoff (second grade), and Mrs. Rokaw
(sixth grade) the most. I wish I knew where all my classmates where. Does anyone remember
Mr. Bodkin the principal at the time. It is such a blessing to see this site. It brought
back so many great memories. And wow nothing has changed a bit about the school. |

I
remember Friday assemblies where we all had to wear white shirts. And who can forget when
the principal would say, "Good morning boys and girls" and we would all respond,
"Good morning Mr. Botkin!" Who can forget Mr. Mugno the science teacher who
tried every year to hatch chickens, never successfully! My teachers were, Mrs. Krasnoff,
Mrs. Codugan (who sat on a desk instead of a chair), Mrs. Feeth and Mrs.
Gale (who ate
cookies and pretzels in front of us all day). |

I had a lot of fun during my years at 115. I remember on the first day of
school we would line up in the school yard and everyone would look around to see who was going to be in their class. My teachers were Mrs. Sanders, Mrs. Hubbard, Mrs. Drucker, Mrs. Krasnoff, Mrs. Codugan, Mrs. Feeth and Mrs. Gale. And how can anyone forget Kathy the crossing guard. I have too many memories to fit on this page and reading everyone's comments brings back a lot of them. |

I will never forget my years at 115. I remember being in Mrs. Goldman's fifth grade class. Every day she would let the boys go and then proceed to kiss every girl good-bye. I will not forget how we started to change classes in sixth grade for math to get us ready for the junior high. I will never forget how Ms. Gale used to smoke in class and eat her cookies! Her class was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. I remember a boy throwing a chair in first grade, in Mrs.
Hubbard's class. I don't remember who he was but I recall how horrible that was considered back then, which is nothing compared to things that occur today in the classroom. |

PS115 was like the best school
I have been in so far. I remember all
the teachers I had and sometimes when I am walking to school I see them and they remember
me. The only thing that I don't like about it was that at graduation they told my class
that we could come back anytime and when I got there they told me I
wasn't aloud in and
when i asked for Mrs. Fine they said they couldn't find her and asked me to leave so
I went home and called the school and they said they still couldn't find her and that they
would call me back and they NEVER did. I would like to be ably to go back one say to see
my teachers |

I attended
P.S. 115 form September, 1990 to April, 1996. I never graduated due to
academic and emotional problems in 5th grade. After I left P.S. 115 I
didn't go to M.S. 72 nearby. I attended P.S. 115 for the last time on
Friday, April 26, 1996. Just 2 months before graduation. I had major
problems. I went to a school called Lifeline Center for Child
Development on Winchester Boulevard and Union Turnpike after I left
P.S. 115. I spent 5 years in that school. It sort of helped mold me
into the person I am today. When I first entered that school I was a
shy, timid, bitter kid who had trouble having fun. Fast forward to 5
years later and I'm a confident, wiser, smarter kid that can have some
fun. Now I go to a school called the Karafin School in Mount Kisco.
It's a really small school. Eighty kids are in the whole school. The
school goes from grades 8-12. I'm doing fine. I took the PSAT last
October and I think I got a 1290. I'm even getting letters from
colleges. Also I had many siblings that went to that school.
Only my younger brother Lenny is living at home with me now. |
